How the Stories Began

I’ve been an avid reader for as long as I can remember. My love for writing truly ignited in sixth grade when I wrote an essay about Leonardo da Vinci. Not only was I captivated by the many fields in which da Vinci excelled, but I discovered something even more powerful: writing about something you love can be one of the keys to unlocking your own voice.

That early realization — that words could carry images, emotion, and ideas — has never left me. It eventually wove itself into everything else I do.

Writing as a Way of Seeing

For me, writing has always been the starting point. Every song I compose still begins with a story. That same impulse grew into magazine articles and eventually books. I continue to read widely because I believe the best stories — whether told through words, sound, or images — come from deep curiosity and careful observation.

I write across fiction and non-fiction, always searching for the emotional truth at the heart of a subject. Whether I’m exploring historical figures, personal reinvention, or the quiet mechanics of everyday life, the goal remains the same: to make the reader feel they are living inside the story.
