When most people think of an interview, they think of a talk-show interview where the person is selling something. But there are interviews during which a person actually educates and, if they’re really good, entertains.

“The interview itself is the purpose of the work [not the story].”
- Ask the big life questions.
- Pour your attention into the interview.
- Be an active participant in the conversation.
- Remember it’s not the “story” that matters.
- Say thank you.
